1965 VW Beetle

A beautiful example of an iconic car. The 1965 model came equipped with a 1.2 liter air cooled 4-cylinder engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. Also referred to as the “Type 1” the Beetle’s mechanical design was originated by Ferdinand Porsche Sr. and the sleek body design by Erwin Komenda, a Porsche employee who was later the body designer of the Porsche 356 and 911 models.
